Aceintel ("we", "us", "our") operates aceintel.io and the Aceintel monitoring service (collectively, the "Service"). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Data we collect

Account data

When you sign up, we collect your email address and billing information (processed by Stripe — we never store raw card numbers). We use this to create your account, send service emails, and handle billing.

Amazon review data

To deliver the Service, we collect publicly available Amazon product reviews for the ASINs you ask us to monitor. This data is sourced from Amazon's public product pages. We do not collect personally identifiable information from Amazon reviewers beyond what Amazon makes public.

Usage data

We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and performance monitoring. We do not use third-party analytics trackers on our marketing site.

2. How we use your data

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service
• To send you weekly AI briefs, alerts, and transactional emails related to your account
• To process payments via Stripe
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Data storage and security

Your account data and monitoring data are stored on servers located in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and take reasonable precautions to protect data at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Vercel — website and API hosting.
• Anthropic — AI-generated brief content. Review text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate summaries.

5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@aceintel.io. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation, we retain data for up to 90 days before deletion, unless legally required to keep it longer. Review data collected for your ASINs is retained for up to 2 years to power trend analysis.

7. Cookies

Our marketing site (aceintel.io) does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Session cookies may be set by the Service to maintain your login state. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active subscribers by email if we make material changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
